# Office implementation schedule

The base scenario allows **108 working days in the field** and **184.3 working days overall**, from illustrative preconstruction authorization on **5 October 2026** to operational acceptance on **28 June 2027**. It represents one 8,000 sq ft office. These dates are calculated examples, not a start commitment or a verified authority or supplier program.

The MPP and seven-page Gantt PDF contain the **base scenario**: 107 activities and milestones, five phase summaries and 17 resource pools. Favorable and restrictive cases use the same dependency network, alternative review/procurement allowances and 80% / 130% of base field hours. They are deterministic sensitivities, not probability bounds or delivery promises.

## Production and staffing

The base has **5,375.925 estimated field person-hours**, plus **144 supplier staffing hours** already included in all-in services: 48 for receiving/logistics, 48 for the move and 48 for IT deployment. Native Project Work totals **5,519.925 hours**. The budget's **684 professional billing hours** are separate; this model does not allocate every consultant or management hour to a resource calendar.

Two three-person flooring crews work in separate provisional zones. Compared with one shared three-person flooring crew, this reduces the base program by approximately **19.05 working days** with unchanged installation hours. Availability of both crews, delivery capacity, building access and separate work fronts must be confirmed. Cost and schedule have been reconciled on this conceptual staffing basis.

Other trade crews retain explicit continuity. Ceiling, millwork and furniture installation are separately staffed specialties; electrical, alarm and data are distinct resource pools. Maximum modeled concurrent field and vendor staffing is **18 people**. Resource capacity is an assumption, not evidence that contractors have committed staff.

Zone One and Zone Two are execution areas within one design. Selected quantities/hours are provisionally divided equally between them. There is no measured zone takeoff or agreed partial inspection plan. Both must be confirmed before using this plan for execution.

## Sequence and completion

The base critical chain runs through survey/design, permit reviews, mobilization, Zone One rough-in and concealment release, finishes and flooring, the shared millwork sequence, furniture/data completion, correction/inspection gates, occupancy release, move and user setup. Procurement proceeds after the modeled technical and commercial release gates; it assumes that authorized early orders can precede final permit issuance.

The network includes protection and demolition, support/penetration allowances, pre-concealment checks, HVAC balancing, separate sprinkler and alarm acceptance, power testing, integrated checks, corrections, reinspection and final cleaning. Trade test hours are allocated once; integrated handover does not charge them again. Service orders proceed early, while actual IT activation waits for service, power, equipment and the move.

Physical completion is **15 June 2027 at 17:00** in the base case. Full field overhead runs from **14 January 2027 at 08:00** to that point: **152.375 elapsed calendar days / 7 = 21.767857 weeks**. Later administrative waits, the move and IT deployment do not extend full field overhead. This is different from 108 working days / 5 = 21.6 working weeks. The coordinated budget uses fractional calendar weeks.

## Calendar and assumptions

Work is Monday–Friday, 08:00–12:00 and 13:00–17:00. Fractional days are retained. The selected illustrative closures are 26–27 November and 24–25 December 2026; 1 January, 31 May, 5 July, 6 September, 25–26 November, 24 December and 31 December 2027. These are planning choices, not confirmed building, contractor or authority calendars. Review and procurement durations use this same working calendar and must be replaced by responsible-party commitments on a real project.

The actual property, applicable authority, approved brief, contractor availability and existing services have not been established. Adequate base-building capacity and shared common restrooms are assumed. Interior HVAC, ventilation interfaces, IT cooling, power, pantry, data/AV, sprinkler and alarm scopes remain conceptual allowances. Equipment, loads, connections, supports and site-specific specialist design require confirmation. Modeled workpoints are not a verified statutory occupant load. A scheduled inspection or permit gate is future work, not an approval already obtained.

## Opening and updating the files

Open **Office Schedule.mpp** in Microsoft Project. The issue table shows ID, activity, calculated working days, start and finish; the PDF uses DD/MM/YY. Red bars identify calculated critical work. Native dates, dependencies and resource assignments remain editable. The numeric Days column is a live duration formula, including phase summaries. Detailed Work, Resource Names and Predecessors can be added to the native view when needed.

Installations use fixed-unit assignments: revise estimated Work, crew units and physical links deliberately, then check dates and overallocation. Do not insert a second generic productivity loss into hours that already include their estimating conditions. Zero resource rates mean the MPP is a schedule, not the cost model. Native task notes retain acceptance and duration assumptions. No actual progress or contractual baseline is recorded.

After a material edit, recalculate, check resources and critical path, save a new revision and export its PDF. The supplied PDF was exported directly from the reviewed MPP; all seven pages were checked for activity coverage, date legibility and clipping. The base was reopened natively and compared with an independent network calculation. A one-day critical-task edit moved completion one working day on a disposable copy and was restored without changing the issued file.
